The request named the campaign, Starry Nights, and its line, Light & Wonder in the Darkness. For the mood the church wrote classic and conceptual, stars and skies throughout, and attached Van Gogh's The Starry Night as a place to start. Advent ran from November 30, a week each for hope, peace, joy, and love.
Two directions came out of the same brief. One painted the whole sky, with a gold script title. The other kept a photographic night, with serif capitals and fine gold lines.
Each week gets its own light, Dawning, Reflected, Dancing, and Radiant, and the page ends on Christmas Eve.
