The Jonah Inheritance is a faith-based medical missions nonprofit led by Nigerians. It partners with African physicians to build sustainable healthcare networks in Nigeria. It needed a brand that could speak to donors abroad, hold up next to the work on the ground, and stretch across campaigns, a giving community and a website.
Build one system, then let it flex. We started with the brand and made every later piece, from campaigns to a monthly-giving community to a website, from the same marks, colour and type. A donor sees one organisation whether they meet it on a postcard, in a social post or on the site.
The identity is a spaced serif wordmark and a mark of two hands reaching toward each other with a star between them, set in a seven-colour palette that moves from navy and cream to yellow, teal and red.
The first brand presentation asked the question the whole brand answers: why do African doctors need your help now? Heavy type, an arch and an arrow carried that question across posters and supporting elements.
A 2022 event campaign. We built the visual direction and a set of social graphics for the client's Called to Hope event. Three of the pieces are shown here.
A 2022 Christmas appeal built as a direct-mail suite, with matching social, email and motion slides. Shown here: the series direction, the motion slides and the envelope.
The mark and the line "Someone Jonah is here" carried onto a tote, tees in three colours, hoodies and a mug, so supporters can wear and use the brand. Shown as product mockups.
Our design and build of the organization's website: the home page, the work, the medical center, and the reasons behind the mission. Shown as screens from our archived build.
