The Sports Authority put two films under one agreement. The Year in Review was for its board meeting, with interviews shot on site. The Impact film was post-production only, and Jennifer Hinkle set its goal as an "evergreen, high-energy, cinematic celebration of how HCHSA powers Houston's sports legacy."
With both in the edit, she put the Year in Review first.
Both films are built from the same set of boards, with the titles, lower thirds, and data layouts designed once. Jennifer's reply on the boards: "these work."
Made for the Sports Authority's board meeting. CEO Ryan Walsh is on camera with Chairman Juan Garcia, Mayor John Whitmire, and Commissioner Lesley Briones, between footage from the year's events. We delivered it in three versions.
The evergreen piece. Jennifer reset it to "a :90 piece," and it runs voiceover-led. The Sports Authority planned to play it at its FIFA Fan Festival.
Kinetic type carries the lines and the program names, over footage from the Sports Authority's venues and events.
The layouts Jennifer reviewed in November 2025: full, half, and quarter screen, lower thirds, and the intro and outro scenes.
