When Covenant came to us in October 2023, its message was already clear: Covenant exists for all people. We surveyed thirty-four people from the congregation, and the research set the job plainly: a brand that says the church's core, a supportive community for people of varied beliefs.
We built the mark from the church's own labyrinth. The style guide calls the icon “a simplified yet strong representation of the church’s labyrinth.” When the Outreach Committee chose that direction in February 2025, they asked for more ways in, so the icon got its entry points that spring, before the 2025 guide shipped in May.
Three pages from the research and strategy deck we delivered in January 2024: who the church says it is, the belief the brand had to carry, and the challenge we set.
The icon, the wordmark and the lockup from the 2025 style guide, and the April 2025 options that settled how the labyrinth opens.
