One Church

Trinity Church, seventy-five years old, and City Life Church, ten years old, merged in Lansing and became One Church. We came in last year to build the name, the identity, and the launch. The brief came from Luke 15 and John 17, and everything in the brand traces back there.

Trinity Church, seventy-five years old, and City Life Church, ten years old, merged in Lansing and became One Church. The name came first and does most of the work: One, as in one church, and one person. The mountain wave runs through every surface from the awning at the door to the feed. The brand went public on September 9, 2026 as a collab post with @onechurch.mi.

The Challenge

Two congregations in Lansing, two generations of ministry, one decision made on conviction rather than convenience. They needed a name and an identity that could carry what they already believed onto street signage, walls, print, and the feed, before the merger went public.
