The committee came to us through a referral, asking for photography and videography of its volunteer orientation. When it signed on, the committee wrote that it was excited to have us "help elevate the volunteer orientation experience."
As we shared the interview selects, we wrote to the committee: "We will be weaving these together into the edit as opposed to using entire takes from one individual to give more energy and show more diversity in a shorter time."
We delivered the photos as an edited set of selects, in Dropbox and a private gallery. The committee wrote back that it would "go through them and share with everyone."
We pulled the interviews into selects before cutting, and the vertical reels drew on them too.
