Resonate Church meets in Newaygo, Michigan, Sundays at 9 and 11. The identity had to carry a road sign, a Sunday slide, a hoodie, and a children's ministry that was already asking for a room of its own. The brief was a brand for a church devoted to loving Jesus, built so the next rooms would fit.

We built the parent brand to be extended. One icon, two greens, and a type system with room in it. Jade and Pine do the work; Amber and Tangerine warm it up. When Kids came along the icon got a softer edge. When Heart of the House came along it got a lime jacket. Neither lost its shape.

A horizontal lockup, a stacked one, and an icon that works alone. Five colors: Jade, Pine, Mint, Amber, Tangerine. The layout system runs the icon off the edge of the page, so a poster and a post read as the same church.

That is the 2024 guide, page 7, in full: “The icon symbolizes the growth and new path of the church, focusing on His light and amplifying His voice to resonate with others.” It works alone on a bucket hat and next to the wordmark on a sign in the snow.

Brand Evolution 2.0 went to the church in 2025 as two directions. Which would you have picked?

Each teaching series gets its own card set inside the system: “Resonating His Love” in confetti red, “A Church Devoted to Jesus” in cream and brass. The brand holds; the season changes.

Kids got a rounder icon and a dog. The way in got Heart of the House. Each is a brand on its own, so each gets a page. Walk through below.
